15715: Strategies for Motivating Young Readers
Expand your literacy tool kit with strategies for motivating young reluctant readers. In this program, we will explore three powerful motivations that drive student reading: (1) interest, (2) dedication, and (3) confidence. An interested student reads because they enjoy it; a dedicated student reads because they believe it is important, and a confident student reads because they can do it. This program will examine classroom-ready tips to get young readers interested and excited about reading. Learn the value of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation in today s classroom and discover strategies for your literacy tool kit.
No classes are being offered at this time for this course.
