15716: Grades 3-8 Round Table: Engaging Students in Math Problem-Solving
Join NCCAT on February 24, 2021 from 3:30 to 4:30 to learn and share strategies for engaging students in problem solving. This virtual collaborative roundtable will include a strategy shared by the NCCAT facilitator, followed by roundtable discussions focused on problem solving in the math classroom. Come ready to share your best practices and resources, as well as learn new ideas from colleagues across NC. There will also be an opportunity to share your input for NCCAT’s upcoming programming. This collaborative roundtable is designed to bring NC colleagues together to share and learn from one another centered on problem-solving in the math classroom. This session is intended for teachers and instructional coaches who teach math in grades 3-8.

No classes are being offered at this time for this course.

Applying to NCCAT

Who is Eligible? North Carolina certified pre-K through 12th grade teachers who are employed in North Carolina public schools, including charter schools, are eligible to attend NCCAT programs. (This may include school administrators, counselors, library media specialists, lead teachers, and mentors.) 

Please check with your principal prior to applying to be sure your travel/substitute teacher costs will be covered by your school.

NCCAT Online NOTICE: As of July 1, 2022, registrants are limited to two (2) NCCAT Online courses per quarter.

What is Provided? NCCAT provides your food, lodging and programming. Teachers and/or their districts are responsible for travel and substitute teacher costs.
