15761 Online Design for Canvas and Google Classroom: What s in Your LMS?
Want to learn how to build effective online design for Canvas and Google Classroom using Google Apps? The widespread adoption of Learning Management Systems and 1:1 laptop initiatives means teachers have opportunities to blend the best of traditional instruction and online learning. Teachers will learn the latest best practices for online learning and put that learning into practice by creating effective lessons to engage student learners. The 4 C’s - collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity are essential components of the digital learning competencies that support and enhance student learning and success for our global society. This course will help you design online lessons using Google Apps for your Canvas or Google Classroom account. By building their repertoire of skills with Google Apps for Education, teachers will see how to foster seamless communication, encourage collaboration among students, promote critical thinking, and support student creativity—the 4 C’s.

No classes are being offered at this time for this course.

Applying to NCCAT

Who is Eligible? North Carolina certified pre-K through 12th grade teachers who are employed in North Carolina public schools, including charter schools, are eligible to attend NCCAT programs. (This may include school administrators, counselors, library media specialists, lead teachers, and mentors.) 

Please check with your principal prior to applying to be sure your travel/substitute teacher costs will be covered by your school.

NCCAT Online NOTICE: As of July 1, 2022, registrants are limited to two (2) NCCAT Online courses per quarter.

What is Provided? NCCAT provides your food, lodging and programming. Teachers and/or their districts are responsible for travel and substitute teacher costs.

How Do I Know If I've Been Accepted? Once we have received your completed application, we will email notification of your placement status to you as well as your principal/director. To ensure that you receive any and all emails from NCCAT, please add noreply@orbund.com to your email address book.
