How can digital tools support writing instruction in middle grades classrooms? Using the NC ELA standards for writing, participants will explore new strategies for teaching writing while integrating innovative digital tools. Sessions will include using mini lessons to teach writing alongside reading and using digital tools to support writing instruction. Participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from across NC, and create a unit of writing to implement in their classrooms.
