16319 Task-Based Learning in the Elementary Math Classroom
Have you heard about task-based learning and wondered how to implement it into your math classroom? Have you tried task-based learning and wondered how you could embed it more authentically into your everyday instructional practice? In this program, we will explore how to use tasks as the foundation for the math learning in our classrooms. Teachers will learn what a high quality math task looks like, and how to build task-based lessons using the launch, explore, discuss framework. We will be taking a deep dive into the resources on the NC Tools 4 Teachers website to support this work in your classroom and you will walk away with lessons you can implement immediately! This program is designed for teachers in grades K-5.
No classes are being offered at this time for this course.
